When working on different laptops, I have faced different challenges to my habits. Below are for the Toshiba, Dell and Lenovo models:
| My habit is | It requires | However, the Toshiba… | However, the Dell… | However, the Lenovo… | However, the IBM… |
| Ctrl+Enter to add www…com to a domain the a browser’s address bar | Ctrl button on the right | There is only the left Ctrl | |||
| Windows+D to go to Desktop Windows+R to Run Windows+E to open Explorer |
The Windows button between left Ctrl and Alt | Windows button is on top-left corner | No Windows button | ||
| Use Hotkeys to navigate | the Home, End, PageUp, PageDn should be very close | These 4 buttons are small on the top-left corder | These buttons require holding Fn |
I understand that with a limited space of a laptop, customization should be made. But these customizations make it a pain for me.
What are the problem you are having?
