Apart from built-in functionalities, these are my favorite applications so far:
Blog RSS Feed ReaderThis is the nicest RSS reader application in Facebook. Though it doesn’t replace a professional reader, it’s nice to have in your profile since you can check the title quickly and let people see what you’re reading. Integrating this with RSS mashups like Yahoo! Pipes is a good idea.
StumbleUponTo share cool websites that you Stumble.
del.icio.usTo share cool websites that you saves on del.icio.us.
There are countless of gifts applications, but these 2 are very cute and the concept is nice too: to wait 4 days for the gift to grow/hatch.
Growing GiftsSelect a plant (or an object) and send to your friends. It will grow in 4 days.
Hatching EggsSelect a cute creature (or an object) and send to your friends in the form of an egg. The egg will hatch in 4 days.
Birthday CalendarAlthough Facebook provides a birthday reminder, this application layouts all your friends’ birthdays so it’s easier for you to plan your celebration and/or presents ahead.
My PersonalityThe main test is based on the Big-5 traits. It also explains typical horoscope psychology and test you against it. The good thing is that it compares you with your Facebook connections.
My TypesA MBTI test with percentage. It gives you the results of your Facebook friends too.
TestimonialsYou can write testimonials for your friends and receive ones from them. Testimonials give you flexibility in assessing than with mere adjectives.

Current solutions to add blogs to Facebook include:
“Notes” application allows importing blog from feed. “Notes” automatically imports new entries from the original blog.
“Notes” also provide tagging capability. You can choose to tag a person in each blog entry.
Some applications allow adding RSS Readers in Facebook profile. The most attractive of all today is Blog RSS Feed Reader

However, it means you need to rely on another blogging platform.
Alternatively, you can use a Facebook application named Live Blog created by Kudos Media . With Live Blog application, you can blog insdie Facebook without having to rely on third-party blogging platform.

This application supports basic HTML codes, mood, music embed, YouTube embed, Google Video embed and location where the journal happened.
Till now, no WYSIWYG interface has been provided. Decoration/image embed/URL must be done manually with HTML codes. Hope a more interactive edit pane will be added soon.
Try it out!
It means you now have everything you want on Facebook: terrific social networking functionalities, blogging, podcast, video embed, music, photo sharing, greetings cards and all.
Have you planned to move from other platform to Facebook yet?
